WordPress (self-hosted)

Self-hosted WordPress sits on real hosting (usually cPanel), so you have full root access — plus plugins make the head script painless.

  1. Upload llms.txt, sitemap.xml and the IndexNow key file to your site root via your host's File Manager or SFTP (the folder with wp-config.php).
  2. For robots.txt: most SEO plugins (Yoast, Rank Math) have a robots.txt editor — paste our lines there, or upload the file to root.
  3. For the Organization schema: install a "headers and footers" plugin (e.g. WPCode) and paste our <script> into the site-wide header, or add it to your theme's header.php.
  4. Add the two DNS TXT records at your domain registrar.
The honest bit

On WordPress.com (the hosted version, not self-hosted) root-file upload is restricted — if you're on a free/Personal plan, choose our white-glove and we'll handle it.
