These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AI HALO ("AI HALO", "we", "us", "our") — an AI-visibility service operated as a sole proprietorship in Alberta, Canada. By running an audit, purchasing an engagement, or otherwise using aihalo.ca (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
The Service measures how AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini) read, name and describe a business, and — for paid engagements — implements and delivers the public-web signals those systems rely on (structured data, llms.txt, AI-crawler access, indexing artifacts, entity records), then re-measures at 30 days. Deliverables are real files and records that are yours to keep. The Luminary tier and the concierge add-on include hands-on installation on your site.
We promise the work and the measurement: a baseline reading at purchase and a 30-day re-scan with real numbers. We do NOT control, and cannot control, the outputs of any third-party AI system, search engine or directory. We make no guarantee of any specific ranking, mention, placement, traffic, or revenue outcome, and any statement about likely results is an opinion, not a warranty. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Paid work begins on payment. Your results arrive by email, typically within 2–3 days; the closing report follows the 30-day re-scan. Concierge/white-glove installations complete within two business days of our receiving the access we need.
Prices are set in Canadian dollars (CAD). Customers in Canada are shown and charged in CAD; customers elsewhere are shown their local-currency estimate and charged the US-dollar equivalent, converted from our CAD price at the current daily exchange rate plus a small currency-conversion allowance, with the exact charge amount and currency shown before you pay. Engagements are charged one-time (the concierge add-on and any future subscription are billed separately and disclosed before purchase). Card and Affirm payments are processed by Stripe; Interac e-Transfer is paid to etransfer@aihalo.ca against the invoice we email you. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you. Promotion codes are subject to their stated terms and may be withdrawn at any time.

You represent that you are authorised to engage us for the website you submit. Where you grant us access (DNS, hosting, delegate access) for installation, we use it solely for the agreed work and recommend you revoke it afterward. We never store your credentials in plaintext. You agree not to misuse the Service, including automated abuse of the free audit, attempts to breach security, or use that infringes others' rights or applicable law.
The Service, our site, methods and content are our intellectual property. The deliverables produced for your engagement are licensed to you for your own business use and are yours to keep. You retain all rights to your website and your data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising out of or relating to an engagement is limited to the amount you paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to first contact us to resolve any dispute in good faith; the courts located in Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute not resolved informally.
We may update these Terms; material changes take effect when posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
