It depends which GoDaddy product you're on — and this matters.
- If you have cPanel / Web Hosting: follow the cPanel guide — full access, all files go live.
- If you use the GoDaddy Website Builder: you can add the JSON-LD via Settings → "Add code to head", and edit robots.txt in the SEO settings — but you cannot upload arbitrary root files like llms.txt.
- Add the two DNS TXT records under Domain → DNS.
The honest bit
On the Website Builder, llms.txt and the IndexNow key file can't be placed at root. That's exactly what our white-glove tier is for — we'll get them live for you.
