Shopify locks down the site root — you get theme files, not a filesystem. Some deliverables fit; some genuinely don't.
<script> to theme.liquid (Online Store → Themes → Edit code) inside the <head>. This works well.robots.txt.liquid template — we'll give you the exact rules to add./sitemap.xml — you don't upload ours; we align to theirs.llms.txt and the IndexNow key file cannot live at a Shopify root — the platform doesn't allow it.
